Bad Boy OEM 088-3500-00 Mount Assist Handle Kit

I lost a leg in an accident 1 year ago came up with a design so I could get on my mower easily. I bought 2 of these bars and a mechanic friend of mine installed them, then attached 2 long bars from the roll bar to the helper bars. He then built a platform level with the front of my Badboy and a ramp so I can drive my electric wheelchair to the front of the mower then using the bars, hop on, turn, and sit down. Now, I won't have to hire anyone to mow for me!

Built tough as is expected from a Bad Boy product. Could be better however. Longer bolts so it truly fits all models. Make the brackets so they actually fit over the support bar rather than on top of it. Works great with my Renegade, after a trip to hardware store for 5/16 x 4” carriage bolts.

It's been almost 3 weeks and have heard nothing about my assist handle. Have emailed over and over and no response back to anything i have sent them. Would be nice to get a response or a refund!!

Great add on .. so much safer for my 76 year old husband to get on and off.. now looking for a sun canopy to fit this style of mower🤷🏻‍♀️

This was easy to install and works well to help get on and off the mower. Anyone who has trouble standing without help or needs a little help getting out of the seat would benefit from this handle.

Kudos and sincere thanks for this mounting assistance handle. Somehow I’ve survived into my 70’s and still enjoy mowing my own lawn; however, I’m not as steady as I was in my 40’s. This handle allows me to mount and dismount my Bad Boy MZ Magnum without putting undue stress on the actuator arms or stepping on the mower deck. I have mounted it on the left near the front wheel. One additional benefit is that it deflects thorn bushes away from this operator making my ride safer.
